This wine is light bodied with a backbone and a mix of dark and bright flavors.  There are notes of red fruits, cherry cola, cranberry and barrel toast.  The wine has a touch of chocolate tannins with a bit of bright acidity without being overbearing.  If you are looking for a more rustic alternative to pinot or merlot this is a great wine to check out.
