This is our first port styled wine made from Touriga Nacional, just like they do in Portugal.  It has a great balance between the alcohol and the sugar with smooth, rich flavors.  A very refined aesthetic, focused without being monochromatic.  With the longer barrel aging it isn't necessarily young. However, it retains a juicy freshness that compliments the deeper flavors of plum and toffee nicely.  The finish is long, sweet and spicy with notes of cloves.
