This is a great example of what Applegate Valley cabernet sauvignon can be!  It is fruit forward with great balance.  It is dry and has backbone which comes from the way the tannins and acidity work together in a very present and pleasing way.  The flavors have depth and complexity which start off with the red fruit you would expect from a cab while finishing off with nice, toasty, chocolate notes.  This is a great expression of cab and speaks to the unique terroir we have in the Applegate Valley.
